Why St. Michael's
“We chose St. Michael’s for our children for how family oriented it felt. We were welcomed with open arms and smiling faces from day one. It has become our second home, an extension of our family.”
-Katie Thorne, Parent
"Our family was a part of St. Michaels for eight years. I am amazed by many things but my favorite is the teachers' ability to connect with each kid and the parents to work together as a team for the best interest of every kid."
-Katie Baird, former parent

Episcopal Identity
At St. Michael's, our Episcopal identity is at the center of our name and at the center of who we are. St. Michael's values the dignity of every human being as a child of God. We strive to live with honor, integrity, and respect for all. We are committed to creating, maintaining, and nurturing a diverse, safe, and inclusive environment as we prepare children for lives of service, intellectual discovery, integrity, morality, and purpose.
Academic Excellence
St. Michael's Preschool believes in providing a strong foundation in early learning skills like literacy (letter recognition, basic reading), math (number recognition, counting, simple addition), and critical thinking which sets students up for future success in elementary school. This includes not only knowledge acquisition, but also the development of important skills such as active listening, problem solving, fine, and gross motor skills.

We Support Curiosity!
At St. Michael's we believe curiosity is the key to a lifelong love of learning. Our play-based approach encourages children to explore, ask questions, and discover the world around them through hands-on activities, creative problem-solving, and interactive lessons. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, we empower children to follow their natural sense of wonder, building confidence and critical thinking skills that prepare them for future learning.
A Supportive and Diverse Community
St. Michael's welcomes students and families of all faiths, ethnicities, races, backgrounds, and perspectives.
Our curriculum gives students opportunities to learn about those outside of their own community, broadening their minds and helping them to become a kind, compassionate, and empathetic human being.
